high blood pressure

In Austria, one in four people has high blood pressure (hypertension); in old age, it is even one in two. In addition to a hereditary predisposition, the risk factors for high blood pressure are lack of exercise, unhealthy diet, obesity and stress. Sometimes hormonal causes can also trigger hypertension. Permanently high blood pressure is particularly dangerous for the blood vessels, heart, brain, kidneys and eyes. The ideal blood pressure value for most people is 120/80mmHg.

In addition to a healthy lifestyle, there are a number of medication options for normalizing blood pressure. If you have hypertension, I can offer you the option of hormonal assessment and, if necessary, the correct medication to adjust your blood pressure.
